Raise a glass, it's Boonville's Fratty Pike
If you haven't brushed up on your Boontling lately - an old folk language spoken only in the Boonville area - the Fratty Pike is a wine walk to you and me. Four tasting rooms strung tantalizingly through town on the east side of Highway 128, all within a 10-minute walk, will hold open houses and offer holiday specials. Pick up an event card and map at Londer, Foursight, Zina Hyde Cunningham or Philo Ridge wineries, and collect stamps from all four to enter a drawing for four bottles of wine for a mere 4 cents.
Vitals: Dec. 14-15, 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Highway 128 through downtown Boonville. (707) 895-3036.
